Every headline, read and weighed for you.

Most financial news doesn't matter. Ticker Coach reads it all anyway — scoring each story's sentiment and likely impact on the stocks you follow, and explaining the ones that count.

Educational tools and AI-generated analysis — not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All tickers and figures on this page are illustrative.

What it does

Built for the hours you don't have.

Impact, not just headlines

Every story gets a sentiment read and an impact score for the specific stock — a routine mention and a guidance cut stop looking the same.

The why, in plain English

High-impact stories come with context: what happened, why it plausibly moves this stock, and how it fits the bigger picture.

Breaking-news alerts

Material stories about stocks you own or watch reach you as they break — filtered for significance, so a buzz means something.

How it works

Four steps, zero busywork.

No setup marathon — it's useful on day one and gets more personal as you add the stocks you care about.

01

It reads everything

News on every tracked stock is ingested continuously from financial media and wire coverage.

02

AI scores each story

Direction (positive/negative/neutral) and materiality are scored per stock, in context — sued vs. suing matters.

03

Noise gets filtered

Low-impact mentions stay available but quiet; the feed and your alerts prioritize what's material.

04

Sentiment feeds the score

Aggregated news tone becomes one of the four sub-reads in each stock's Coach Score — evidence attached.

FAQ

Good questions.

How does the AI decide what's material?
Stories are scored for likely business impact on the specific company — earnings surprises, guidance changes, regulatory action, and product events rank high; routine mentions rank low. The score and reasoning are shown, not hidden.
Can the AI get a story wrong?
Yes. Sentiment models can misread context, and the system is built to constrain that — scores come with the underlying story linked so you can always judge the source yourself. Treat reads as context, never as facts to act on unverified. Our guide on how AI sentiment works covers the blind spots honestly.
Is a positive news score a reason to buy?
No. News sentiment is one educational input describing the mood and materiality of coverage — not a recommendation. High-impact positive news is often already reflected in price by the time you read it.
Which stocks get news coverage?
Everything on your watchlist and in your synced portfolio, plus the broader tracked universe that powers screens and briefings.
How fast are breaking-news alerts?
Material stories on your names are scored and pushed as they're detected — typically within minutes of publication.
